I haven’t been doing as much posting because I was called to be a service missionary at the LDS DryPack cannery.
So far it has been great and I have met a lot of great people interested in food storage. About half of the people who are coming to the DryPack cannery are not members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. WOW!
More interesting items on the DryPack cannery and some food storage info latter!

Microwave Carmel Corn….Wow!
Microwave Caramel Corn
from Megan
Melt in microwave: (1 min)
½ cup brown sugar
1 stick of butter
Add 7 large marshmallows
Return to microwave for 1 min
Stir the mixture with a whisk until
it is blended together and
creamy. Pour over 2 bags
microwave popcorn or 6 – 8 cups
popped popcorn.
This also makes an excellent
caramel dip.
Living it up at 100melvins.com
Why oh why do we have 100melvins.com, because things change. Just when we think we got something we love forever with an undying love, then we find something else we love with an undying love. Don’t you love it?

Poetry by meljr: Raised by Wolves
Raised by Wolves
There once was a poet raised by wolves
who howled at the moon by night,
and the words that he learned while at their side
came out when he sat down to write.
His days were long in the city’s glare
for he longed for the cold pine trees,
but he sang the songs that he’d known so long
and wrote them out with ease.
And the winds of man still whirl around,
and the skys keep their dark dead gray,
but that last of the poets raised by wolves
runs by your side today.
